Microsoft Store App Windows 10 Try That Again Cant Load Any Game
Hello BluPheonx,
I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I want to apologize if you encountered this issue. I understand you have a problem with Microsoft Store won't open. When was the last time it's working properly?
**Run the troubleshooter:
Select the Start button, and then select Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.
**Check the Microsoft Store Install Service
Press the Windows Key + S and type in services.msc.
Find the Microsoft Store Install Service and double click, If the status is Running, click Restart
If Disabled, change it to Automatic, click Start and click OK.
**Reset the Microsoft Store app in Windows 10
Open Settings.
Go to Apps -> Apps & features.
On the right side, look for Microsoft Store and click it.
The advanced options link will appear. Click it.
On the next page, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store to default settings
Uninstall the Store:
Press Windows key + X
Click and Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator
Now Type: get-appxpackage *WindowsStore* | remove-appxpackage
Enter then proceed to reinstall Store
Reinstall the Store:
Press Windows key + X
Click and Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator
At the command prompt, copy-paste the following then hit Enter:
Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Launch again your MS Store
I hope this helps! Kindly inform me if my suggestions does not solve the problem. I can provide another solution for you to try.
Sincerely

Hello John.
**Run the troubleshooter:
- The troubleshooter didn't return any issues.
**Check the Microsoft Store Install Service
- I got the following error message - mmc.exe - Application Error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000102)."
**Reset the Microsoft Store app in Windows 10
- I followed these instructions and this did not make any difference in the problem.
**Uninstall/Reinstall the Store:
- Windows + X doesn't return any results. I searched for Powershell, right-clicked and ran as administrator. I entered the prompts one at a time. It appeared to work in Powershell but the Store still won't open.
In addition to the store not opening, I am unable to get the Feedback Hub and Xbox companion to open.

Hello BluPheonx,
Thank you for updating me that information. I'm sorry it didn't resolve the issue.
What is your current Windows version and edition? Press Start then search Settings, select System then About.
Please try to create a new administrator account then check if you can open the store apps.

If still doesn't work, Please try to Perform a Repair Install of Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade. It will definitely help in resolving update errors. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while preserving your personal files, settings and installed applications. The in-place upgrade will also bring you the latest Windows update.
**Few things to check on the PC
Important: Back up your personal data and files to an external hard drive, USB thumb drive, or cloud location (such as OneDrive) before you begin any reinstall of Windows 10 just in case something went wrong.
Ensure you are signed in or have administrator rights to do a repair install
Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting
Disable or uninstall any 3rd party Anti-Virus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade
Please NOTE: You don't need to follow the instructions to turn off Secure Boot
Repair Install of Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further concerns.

Anyone else having issues with this and pulling their hair out trying recommended fix after recommended fix:
Press and hold Windows Key, then tap the "R" key on your keyboard.
Enter "ncpa.cpl" (no quotes), then press Enter or Return
Right-click every network connection you are NOT using, select "Disable".
Right-click the network connection you ARE using, select "Properties"
Double-click "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)"
Change your Preferred DNS to
8.8.8.8
Change your Alternate DNS to
1.1.1.1
Click "OK"
Open the store and it should work. At this point I've wasted over an hour trying everything to fix this store issue. I'm not sure if the DNS change fixed it, or disabling of other network connections (Wireless, Bluetooth, VPN, etc.) is what actually fixed it. Either way, just glad it's working. Hope it works for you too.

My Windows Store opens, but it will not do updates. When I go to manually update in the stores, the spinning wheel spins forever. Sometimes the Store crashes. I have tried resetting it from the Apps and the other threads suggested here. I guess I'll just reinstall Windows but that is a PITA!!!
